Advising on & managing the entire project design & delivery for an intra-group transfer of a run-off insurance & reinsurance portfolio for one of the largest global reinsurers.
A critical element was to facilitate the commercial negotiations & deal structure between the parties and ensure all stakeholders interests (local companies & Group parent) were satisfied. In addition, US, UK and European regulatory & financial reporting jurisdictions all needed to be actively considered and managed.

Consultancy on Sale & Part VII Transfer of a motor insurance portfolio
Providing technical consultancy to both purchaser & vendor on the deal structure, project design & delivery of the transfer of a run-off motor insurance & reinsurance portfolio. Facilitation of commercial negotiations between the parties was a critical factor & required balancing conflicting stakeholder's interests to ensure success. Areas covered included Legal, Finance, Tax, Regulatory & Actuarial.
